Account Executive – Cologne/ Düsseldorf

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a well-funded restaurant technology company expanding across Germany. We're seeking an Account Executive to build their presence in the Cologne and Düsseldorf region. This is a field sales role where you'll engage directly with restaurant owners, café operators, and hospitality venues to introduce a comprehensive management platform.

This position combines prospecting, relationship development, and consultative selling in a fast-moving environment. You'll be the first sales representative in North Rhine-Westphalia, giving you significant autonomy to shape how the business grows in your territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage new hospitality businesses throughout the Cologne and Düsseldorf area through field visits, networking, and creative outreach
• Conduct product demonstrations on-site at restaurants, cafes, and bars where owners and managers operate
• Build relationships with decision-makers in the hospitality sector and understand their operational challenges
• Close new business and coordinate smooth handoffs to implementation teams
• Maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM systems (Hubspot and related tools)
• Attend industry events and hospitality gatherings to build market presence
• Monitor local hospitality trends and competitive developments to refine sales approach
• Experiment with new prospecting tactics and share learnings with the broader sales organization

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, commercial account management, or hospitality industry roles
• Fluency in both German and English
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage busy restaurant owners and hold their attention
• Genuine interest in the hospitality sector and restaurant technology
• Comfortable with independent, field-based work in a startup environment
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to test new approaches without fear of failure
• Experience with CRM platforms and sales productivity tools preferred
