Account Executive

Based in Charleston, SC, US, we're looking for someone who excels at building lasting client relationships and closing deals in the merchant solutions industry.

What This Role Involves

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in the payments and merchant solutions space. You'll engage directly with prospects, understand their unique business challenges, and present solutions that deliver measurable value. Success requires strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and the drive to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.

Core Duties

• Prospecting and qualifying potential merchant clients to develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
• Conducting needs assessments and product demonstrations tailored to client objectives
• Negotiating terms and closing deals while maintaining professional business relationships
• Managing customer accounts and identifying opportunities for growth and upsell
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and success
• Achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets and sales objectives
• Maintaining accurate sales records and activity documentation

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in software, payments, or merchant services
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• Comfort explaining technical solutions to business decision-makers
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and results-driven mentality
• Proficiency with CRM systems and standard sales tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional sales experience
