About This Position

As a Ballet Performace Group Coach at Rochester, you'll play a central role in developing the technical skills and artistic cohesion of our ballet ensembles. This role combines hands-on coaching with rehearsal leadership, working directly with dancers to elevate performance quality and group dynamics. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead group ballet rehearsals and coaching sessions, focusing on technique refinement and ensemble coordination
• Provide constructive feedback on performance execution, musicality, and group cohesion
• Prepare dancers for performances, managing rehearsal schedules and readiness assessments
• Develop and implement coaching strategies tailored to ensemble needs and artistic goals
• Collaborate with choreographers and directors to ensure artistic vision is realized

Requirements

• Professional ballet training and significant performance experience
• Demonstrated expertise in ballet technique and performance standards
