About the Role

As an Admissions Reader at Rochester, you'll be at the heart of our application review process. This full-time position focuses on carefully evaluating student applications, writing reader reports, and providing valuable insights into candidate qualifications and potential. You'll work collaboratively with the admissions team to ensure every application receives thoughtful, fair consideration.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate undergraduate applications, assessing academic credentials, essays, and extracurricular involvement
• Complete detailed reader reports and recommendations on applications within established guidelines
• Participate in application calibration meetings and discussions with fellow admissions staff
• Maintain detailed notes and track application progress throughout the admissions cycle
• Support the admissions process by meeting application review deadlines and targets
• Provide constructive feedback and perspective during application review discussions
