About This Position

As an Ambulatory Tech 1 at Rochester, you'll be a vital member of the clinical team, ensuring smooth daily operations across our ambulatory care services. Working in our outpatient settings, you'll gain exposure to diverse clinical areas and build foundational skills in patient care and medical support.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist clinical and nursing staff with patient care activities and clinical workflows
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and other health measurements
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation in electronic health systems
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment for patient visits
• Support patient intake processes and collect necessary clinical information
• Communicate with patients in a professional, compassionate manner to ensure comfort and understanding
• Perform basic medical equipment cleaning and maintenance per facility protocols

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or healthcare certification preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining quality and accuracy
• Willingness to learn medical terminology and healthcare procedures
• Physical ability to be on your feet and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
