The Opportunity

PWC is seeking an experienced Snowflake data engineer to design, build, and optimise cloud-native data platforms for our consulting clients. You'll work on high-impact advisory engagements where your technical expertise shapes how leading organisations leverage data to drive business transformation. What You'll Do

• Architect and implement Snowflake solutions tailored to client business requirements, including data warehouse design, ETL pipeline development, and performance optimisation
• Collaborate with analytics teams and stakeholders to translate business challenges into technical data solutions
• Lead code reviews, establish data engineering best practices, and mentor junior engineers on your project teams
• Diagnose complex data pipeline issues, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and deliver production-grade improvements
• Support proposal development and advisory delivery for enterprise data modernisation initiatives

Who We're Looking For

• Proven expertise in Snowflake platform administration, development, and optimisation
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, or similar languages in building scalable data solutions
• Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and ETL/ELT frameworks
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Background in consulting, client-facing project delivery, or enterprise data engineering
