Jobgether is recruiting an Information Services professional to join our team in a fully remote role based in Canada. We're seeking an experienced consultant to drive enterprise information governance transformation and modernize records management practices.

About This Position

This is a full-time remote opportunity to shape how organizations manage, protect, and leverage their information assets. As an Information Services Consultant, you'll work with companies across Canada to redesign their governance frameworks, strengthen compliance, and build scalable information management systems that reduce operational risk while improving efficiency. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, legal compliance, and technology enablement.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and deploy classification systems and retention policies tailored to organizational needs
• Develop compliant recordkeeping processes that align with regulatory and operational requirements
• Partner with stakeholders—business leaders, legal counsel, privacy officers, compliance teams, auditors, and IT—to understand information governance challenges and co-create solutions
• Guide organizations through digital transformation by transitioning legacy records practices to modern, cloud-ready information management frameworks
• Assess current-state governance maturity and recommend roadmaps for sustainable improvement
• Document governance standards and train teams on new processes and systems

Who We're Looking For

• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise information governance, records management, or related disciplines
• Strong ability to translate complex regulatory and business requirements into practical frameworks
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across functions (legal, compliance, IT, operations)
• Problem-solving mindset with a track record of designing solutions that scale
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment while maintaining stakeholder alignment
• Familiarity with information lifecycle management, classification best practices, or digital transformation initiatives is valued
