Intermediate Accountant

Jobgether is hiring a full-time Intermediate Accountant to join our remote team serving clients throughout India. In this role, you'll provide essential financial support to businesses across different sectors while maintaining independent control of complex accounting operations.

Role Overview

You'll be the accountant managing financial operations for a variety of clients across multiple industries. Working remotely from India, you'll take full ownership of critical accounting functions: reconciliations, financial reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory submissions. This position rewards initiative—you'll identify areas for process improvement and strengthen how clients manage their finances, all while working alongside a digitally focused team committed to quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct bank and account reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Generate periodic financial reports and statements for clients
• Monitor ledgers and support month-end or quarter-end close processes
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend bookkeeping and operational improvements
• Maintain detailed documentation and ensure audit readiness
• Collaborate with the accounting team to deliver consistent, high-quality deliverables
