Leasing & Community Operations Coordinator

Culdesac, a car-free neighborhood development company headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, is seeking a full-time Leasing & Community Operations Coordinator to join our on-site team. In this role, you'll serve as the primary connection between our innovative leasing program and the residents who call our Tempe neighborhood home.

Position Summary

You'll be the face of Culdesac Tempe—driving lead generation, converting prospects into residents, and ensuring current community members thrive in our car-free environment. This is a high-impact position where you'll blend leasing expertise with hospitality, supporting both sales growth and resident retention in one of Arizona's most distinctive mixed-use developments.

Core Duties

• Generate qualified leads and manage prospect inquiries through the leasing funnel using CRM tools and direct outreach.
• Conduct guided tours of the neighborhood, showcasing our retail partners, courtyards, open spaces, and residential units while communicating Culdesac's vision.
• Nurture relationships with prospective residents through follow-up communications and educational materials about car-free living.
• Support resident satisfaction through community engagement, event coordination, and resolution of neighborhood concerns.
• Manage day-to-day leasing operations and maintain accurate records of applications, tours, and lease cycles.
• Partner with the management team on community programming and resident initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in leasing sales, lead generation, or property management.
• Demonstrated ability to attract prospects, educate them about a unique product or service, and convert interest into commitment.
• Exceptional customer service skills with composure when managing difficult situations independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency with CRM software and familiarity with property management environments.
• Comfort working in fast-paced settings and making sound decisions with incomplete information.
• Genuine enthusiasm for Culdesac's mission and car-free lifestyle principles.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds; walk and stand for extended periods; and work weekends and some evenings.
• Personal commitment to sustainable transportation, public transit, and micromobility as daily commuting methods.
