Senior Fullstack Engineer – Remote

What This Role Involves

You'll own the complete development lifecycle—from frontend interfaces to backend services—integrating advanced AI capabilities into customer workflows. Your work optimizes system performance, ensures reliability at scale, and directly shapes product direction through technical decisions and cross-team collaboration.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Build and maintain React applications and Node.js backend services that handle customer-critical workloads
• Design robust APIs and optimize databases for performance across complex document-processing workflows
• Integrate AI capabilities and third-party services into product features
• Write production-grade code with comprehensive testing and documentation
• Work with Product, Design, AI, and Engineering teams to ship solutions
• Lead technical architecture discussions and establish engineering standards
• Monitor production systems and resolve performance issues
• Mentor team members through code review and collaborative problem-solving

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience at product-driven companies
• Expert-level knowledge of the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of REST API design, backend architecture, and system scalability
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other relational or NoSQL databases
• Proven ability to deploy and maintain applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Practical experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices
• Knowledge of state management, responsive design, and frontend performance
• Background integrating AI services and external APIs (strongly preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
