Senior Product Owner – Accounting & ERP Software

What This Role Involves

You will be the bridge between customer needs, market opportunities, and engineering delivery—translating what businesses require into a product roadmap that actually matters. Your mission is to guide the platform's evolution by understanding user pain points, market trends, and operational workflows, then converting those insights into clear product direction. Working across a distributed team of engineers, quality specialists, customer advocates, and commercial leaders, you'll shepherd features from initial concept through successful launch, ensuring every release delivers genuine business value.

Core Duties

• Gather customer feedback and market signals to identify priorities and opportunities for the ERP platform
• Partner with engineering and design to define detailed specifications and acceptance criteria for new capabilities
• Manage and evolve the product roadmap, making trade-off decisions that balance customer needs with business strategy
• Collaborate with quality assurance to establish testing standards and validate solutions meet customer requirements
• Engage with the customer success and commercial teams to ensure launched features drive adoption and revenue growth
• Monitor product performance and customer outcomes to measure impact and iterate on future direction

Skills & Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial workflows, or enterprise software—demonstrating credibility with finance-focused users
• Proven experience as a product manager or product owner in SaaS, cloud platforms, or complex B2B software
• Strong ability to communicate complex product concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Track record of shipping products that customers actually value and use
• Comfort working in dynamic environments where priorities shift and ambiguity is normal
• Experience collaborating with distributed or cross-functional teams
