Jobgether is recruiting an Information Services Consultant to join us on a fully remote basis, serving organisations across India. This full-time position offers the chance to lead enterprise information governance and records management modernisation.

Role Overview

In this Information Services role, you will guide organisations in reimagining how they govern, protect, and preserve critical records and information assets. You will architect sustainable, scalable systems for managing information from inception through final disposition, strengthening compliance posture and reducing operational risk across the enterprise.

Core Duties

• Create and implement structured classification frameworks that organise information according to business and regulatory requirements
• Develop retention strategies and disposal schedules aligned with legal, compliance, and operational obligations
• Build and embed recordkeeping processes into workflows to ensure sustainable compliance
• Support comprehensive information lifecycle management to maximise efficiency and minimise risk
• Partner with business units, legal counsel, privacy officers, audit teams, risk managers, and technology leaders
• Drive digital transformation by transitioning organisations from traditional manual records practices to modern, intelligent information management platforms

Who We're Looking For

• Substantial experience in information governance, records administration, or related information services specialisms
• Demonstrated capability in designing and deploying classification, retention, and compliance frameworks
• Excellent ability to articulate information governance strategy to executive, legal, and technical audiences
• Experience working cross-functionally across legal, compliance, operations, and information technology teams
• Current knowledge of enterprise records and information management approaches and best practices
• Capacity to balance strategic information governance thinking with detailed operational delivery
