Youth Soccer Coach

Community Sports Partners is seeking a dedicated full-time Youth Soccer Coach in Oakland Park, Florida, to lead youth soccer programs and develop young athletes through skill-building, mentorship, and a passion for the game.

Role Overview

As a Youth Soccer Coach with Community Sports Partners, you'll design and deliver engaging, skill-focused coaching for youth soccer teams in Oakland Park. This full-time role combines practice leadership, game coaching, and athlete development, giving you the opportunity to shape young players' technical abilities, tactical understanding, and love of soccer.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct soccer practice sessions emphasizing individual skill development, team tactics, and physical conditioning
• Coach youth soccer teams during matches, providing in-game instruction and positive, constructive feedback
• Create age-appropriate drills and training progressions tailored to player skill levels and program objectives
• Prioritize player safety through injury prevention strategies, proper equipment use, and adherence to best practices
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding team schedules, player development, and program information
• Build an inclusive, supportive team culture centered on sportsmanship, teamwork, and player enjoyment
• Track attendance, player performance, and team records; document program activities and progress

Who We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience coaching youth soccer or competitive playing background
• Solid understanding of soccer rules, techniques, and youth-focused coaching methodologies
• Strong communication and leadership abilities with capacity to motivate and inspire young athletes
• Genuine commitment to youth safety, holistic development, and positive sporting culture
• Collaborative approach to working with parents, players, and team members
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
• Ability to pass background clearance required for youth-facing positions
• Full-time availability, including evening and weekend coaching commitments
