About the Role

As a Youth Soccer Coach with Community Sports Partners' Girls Soccer Development Program, you'll take on a leadership role serving the Oakland Park community. This full-time position focuses on coaching young female soccer players through structured development sessions, training drills, friendly matches, and competitive fixtures. Your expertise, enthusiasm, and commitment to player development will directly shape the athletic growth and personal development of the girls in your program.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and deliver engaging training sessions that build core technical fundamentals including passing, shooting, first touch, and positional awareness
  • Develop tactical understanding through game analysis, team strategy sessions, and competitive match play
  • Manage day-to-day program operations including session scheduling, player communication, and equipment coordination
  • Create a positive, inclusive training environment where all players feel supported and motivated to improve
  • Communicate regularly with players, parents, and guardians regarding athletic progress and program updates
  • Maintain player safety through injury prevention protocols, proper training progressions, and adherence to coaching standards
  • Mentor young athletes in discipline, teamwork, resilience, respect, and sportsmanship on and off the field

Qualifications

  • Proven coaching experience with youth soccer players, preferably within girls' or women's programs
  • Strong technical knowledge of soccer principles, tactical frameworks, and age-appropriate development methods
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive team environments
  • Current or willingness to pursue relevant coaching certifications such as USSF or NSCAA
  • Availability to work full-time with flexible hours that include evening and weekend training sessions and matches
