About This Position
This role involves coaching and mentoring youth players in a basketball setting. As a Youth Basketball Coach, you will work closely with young athletes to develop their skills, foster teamwork, and promote a healthy, active lifestyle. This is a full-time opportunity with Community Sports Partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate basketball training sessions and games
- Provide individualized coaching and support to players of varying skill levels
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive team environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and other coaches
- Assist in the organization and execution of community events and tournaments
What We're Looking For
- Passion for working with children and teenagers
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in coaching youth sports
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate young players
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid
