About the Role
As an Experienced Service Technician/Mechanic with Swickard Auto Group, you'll guide a crew of technicians toward efficient, reliable, and accurate vehicle service. This is an on-site, full-time position based out of our Eagle River and Anchorage operations in Anchorage, AK — not a remote opportunity. To help you ramp up confidently, your first 90 days are paid at an hourly rate, giving you time to learn the brand before transitioning to flat-rate work without the early pressure. Military veterans are warmly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate a team of service technicians to keep the shop running smoothly and efficiently
- Provide hands-on guidance, troubleshooting support, and technical mentorship to fellow team members
- Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs that meet brand and quality standards
- Champion thorough, dependable work that strengthens customer trust and satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience as an automotive service technician or mechanic
- Confidence leading, directing, and supporting a team in a busy service environment
- Strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to efficient, high-quality repairs
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Anchorage, Alaska
- Veterans and those with military service backgrounds are especially welcome
