Senior Data Analyst – Commercial team (They/She/He)

Join Delivery Hero as a Senior Data Analyst supporting our Commercial team in Sofia. This is a full-time remote position where you'll transform data into actionable business strategies, enabling commercial leadership to make confident, data-driven decisions that drive growth.

What This Role Involves

As a Senior Data Analyst focused on commercial strategy and planning, you'll sit at the intersection of data science and business leadership. You'll partner directly with the Commercial team to uncover market opportunities, evaluate performance across key initiatives, and build the analytical foundation that shapes our commercial roadmap. Your work will span exploratory analysis, insight synthesis, and strategic reporting—turning complex datasets into clear narratives that executives and operational teams act on.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced analyses of commercial performance, customer behaviour, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimisation areas
• Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks that track commercial team success against strategic objectives
• Develop data models and pipelines that consolidate information from multiple systems into a single source of truth
• Support strategic planning by quantifying business scenarios, forecasting outcomes, and stress-testing commercial assumptions
• Collaborate with product, operations, and finance teams to embed data-driven discipline into cross-functional initiatives
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity, backed by rigorous methodology

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or commercial analytics roles
• Expert proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and statistical analysis
• Strong experience with business intelligence or visualisation tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar)
• Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into analytical work and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Solid foundation in statistics and experimental design; familiarity with causal inference or A/B testing is a plus
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous briefs; excellent problem-solving mindset
