Bosch Group is seeking a Hardware Developer to join our Power Supply and Data Centre Projects team in Bengaluru, India. This is a full-time, on-site position for an engineer ready to design and develop hardware solutions that power modern data centre infrastructure.
About This Position
You will work on cutting-edge power supply and data centre technology projects as part of Bosch's global engineering operations. This role bridges hardware design, prototyping, and deployment, where your contributions directly impact the reliability and efficiency of critical infrastructure. You'll collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to take concepts from specification through production validation, working in an environment that values technical depth and innovation.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test hardware circuits and components for power supply systems serving data centre applications
- Analyse technical requirements and translate them into robust hardware architectures and component selections
- Conduct simulations, breadboarding, and prototype validation to verify performance and reliability
- Collaborate with firmware and systems engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration
- Document designs, test results, and technical specifications to support manufacturing and field deployment
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and implement design improvements based on test data and field feedback
- Support manufacturing partners through design reviews and production validation activities
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- Strong foundation in circuit design, power electronics, or hardware development
- Proficiency with circuit design and simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB, or equivalent)
- Experience with PCB design, layout principles, and manufacturing considerations
- Solid understanding of power supply topologies, thermal management, and EMC/EMI principles
- Competence with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analysers)
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and documentation standards
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
