Senior EMC validation Engineer

Bosch Group is seeking a Senior EMC Validation Engineer to join our engineering team in Bangalore, India. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead electromagnetic compatibility validation initiatives for advanced technology products serving automotive, industrial, and consumer sectors.

Position Summary

As a Senior EMC Validation Engineer at Bosch Group in Bangalore, you will oversee the testing, validation, and regulatory compliance of electronic systems and components. You'll apply your expertise in electromagnetic compatibility standards to ensure products meet stringent global requirements before market release. This role combines technical depth with leadership responsibility, enabling you to mentor junior engineers whilst driving validation excellence across complex product portfolios.

Core Duties

• Design and execute comprehensive EMC testing protocols aligned with international regulatory standards
• Validate electronic components and assemblies for electromagnetic interference and susceptibility
• Conduct pre-certification assessments and manage third-party testing laboratory coordination
• Document test results, create compliance reports, and maintain validation records
• Troubleshoot EMC-related issues and recommend design modifications to resolve compliance failures
• Collaborate with product development, quality, and regulatory teams to integrate validation into design cycles
• Guide junior engineers through validation methodologies and share best practices

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or related discipline
• 5+ years of professional experience in EMC validation, testing, or a closely related field
• Strong working knowledge of EMC standards including IEC 61000 series, EN standards, and FCC regulations
• Hands-on familiarity with EMC measurement equipment and testing methodologies
• Proven ability to interpret test specifications and technical documentation
• Solid understanding of electronics, signal integrity, and compliance requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting
• Demonstrable leadership experience managing technical teams or projects
