[EDA] ADAS Vehicle Motion Engineer

Bosch Group is hiring an ADAS Vehicle Motion Engineer to join our engineering team in Hanoi, Vietnam. This full-time position focuses on motion dynamics and control systems that enable next-generation autonomous driving capabilities—work that directly shapes how vehicles perceive, decide, and move safely through the real world.

The Opportunity

Motion control sits at the core of autonomous systems, where physics, software, and safety converge. As an ADAS Vehicle Motion Engineer at Bosch, you'll design the algorithms that translate driving decisions into precise, predictable vehicle actions. From smooth trajectory execution to emergency maneuver response, your work ensures vehicle behavior matches both customer expectations and safety requirements across highways, city streets, and complex edge cases.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and optimize motion control algorithms governing acceleration, steering, and braking in autonomous systems
• Develop trajectory planning and prediction models that enable safe, responsive vehicle behavior
• Integrate motion control modules with perception, localization, and decision-making pipelines
• Run simulations and execute physical vehicle tests to validate algorithm performance across diverse driving scenarios
• Diagnose real-world motion behavior anomalies, identify root causes, and implement targeted solutions
• Document technical specifications, test results, and architectural decisions for compliance and team knowledge transfer

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent discipline
• Professional experience developing control systems, motion planning algorithms, or vehicle dynamics software
• Strong foundation in kinematics, dynamics, simulation, and real-time embedded system implementation
• Proficiency with C++, Python, MATLAB, or Simulink for algorithm development and prototyping
• Familiarity with automotive development practices, ISO 26262 safety standards, or ADAS system architecture preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proven ability to collaborate across hardware and software teams
• Fluent English communication, both written and spoken
