About This Opportunity
We are representing a fast-growing B2B SaaS company in the compliance automation space. Our client is building their Product Support team and needs a German-speaking specialist to help scale their customer experience. This is a remote role open to candidates in Germany, Austria, Poland, the UK, or Turkey.
You'll be the second hire on the Product Support team, giving you genuine ownership to design processes, set quality standards, and define how support operates as the company grows. If you thrive on autonomy and want to build something from the ground up, this is an exceptional opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Serve as first-line support for product-related queries via chat, delivering empathetic, clear, and efficient resolutions
- Document bug reports, review logs, and identify patterns; collaborate with Product Engineering to escalate issues and track resolution (no coding or debugging required)
- Conduct pre-release QA checks to stay current on product updates
- Own and maintain the knowledge base, creating help centre articles that make complex topics accessible
- Produce video content and communications for new feature releases to engage and excite users
- Continuously improve support workflows to enhance customer experience and team efficiency
- Act as the technical product expert, training Customer Success Managers on features and troubleshooting to empower frontline teams
What We're Looking For
- 1–4 years of customer-facing technical support experience in a B2B SaaS environment
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and APIs
- Experience with support tools such as Zendesk or Intercom
- Ability to extract and analyse data using SQL in day-to-day work
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex issues (no hands-on coding required)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication in both English and German (C1 or C2 German essential)
- Ownership mindset: you take full responsibility for customer issues from identification through resolution and documentation
- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, quick to learn new tools and technologies
