Talent Acquisition Specialist / Internal Recruiter (13-Month Fixed-Term Contract — Maternity Cover)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential payments technology organization seeking an experienced Internal Recruiter for a 13-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). This is a fully remote opportunity based in the United Kingdom.

In this role, you will:

• Own the end-to-end recruitment process from intake through to offer acceptance
• Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously, maintaining momentum and quality across your full portfolio
• Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, agree sourcing strategies, and ensure alignment on candidate profiles and timelines
• Proactively source and engage passive candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other creative channels
• Build and maintain a healthy, diverse pipeline of candidates across all markets
• Conduct thorough initial screenings and coordinate interview processes, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System and use recruitment data to inform decisions
• Provide regular updates to hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leadership on requisition status, pipeline health, and market insights
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools, and practices

The primary focus will be recruiting for global Support, Sales, and Marketing functions, with opportunities to recruit across multiple lines of business.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of recruiting experience in an in-house and/or agency setting
• Proven ability to manage multiple open requisitions concurrently, balancing speed and quality
• Strong direct sourcing skills with demonstrated experience engaging passive candidates
• Experience recruiting across multiple functions or business areas
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build credibility with hiring managers at all levels
• Highly organised with strong prioritisation and time management skills
• A data-informed mindset—you track your metrics, spot trends, and use insights to improve outcomes
• Sound understanding of confidentiality and ethical recruitment practices
• Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience recruiting for customer support, marketing, and sales functions in a global or multi-site environment
• Familiarity with recruiting in the payments, fintech, or SaaS industry
• Experience contributing to employer branding or university/early careers recruitment initiatives
• Exposure to recruiting across international markets

Pay
