Responsibilities
Our client, a confidential IT services organization based in Hilden, is seeking an experienced IT Administrator and Network Technology Developer. In this role, you will:
- Design and implement complex high-availability solutions based on Keepalived
- Plan, realize, and manage complex IT systems using existing and newly integrated hardware
- Monitor operational processes and analyze log files
- Communicate technical information effectively at management level
- Troubleshoot system issues and participate in on-call rotation
- Drive technical advancement of cloud services
- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation
- Ensure IT security and data protection compliance
What We're Looking For
We are representing our client in their search for a candidate with:
- Completed degree in computer science or vocational training as IT specialist for system integration with at least 5 years of professional experience
- Strong quality awareness and independent, structured work approach
- Good to very good knowledge in Linux server system administration
- Solid understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware / KVM), firewall configuration, and routing
- Ability to read and work with Bash and Python scripts
- Fluent written and spoken communication skills in German and English
