About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI healthcare organization based in Hamburg that is looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to take full ownership of their recruiting function.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who sees Talent Acquisition as their profession and genuinely enjoys the craft of recruiting. You will work across multiple functions with particular focus on senior, business-critical and hard-to-fill roles spanning Product, Technology and Business.

This is a hands-on recruiting position, not a generalist HR role. You will personally run critical searches, source candidates, conduct interviews and close hires while elevating the overall quality of hiring across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruiting cycle from search strategy and sourcing through interviews, offers and closing
  • Partner with leadership as a trusted talent advisor to clarify requirements, challenge assumptions and drive hiring decisions forward
  • Proactively identify and engage high-quality candidates, particularly for senior, leadership and hard-to-fill roles
  • Conduct rigorous interviews that uncover concrete evidence of impact, decision-making and individual contribution beyond polished answers
  • Select, brief and actively manage external recruiters and search partners where they add value
  • Maintain transparency on pipelines, bottlenecks and risks for leadership while continuously improving hiring processes
  • Translate unclear business needs into clear role profiles, scorecards and structured interview processes

What We're Looking For

  • Substantial hands-on experience owning full-cycle recruiting; background in executive search or another environment with strong sourcing and assessment culture is a plus
  • Proven track record of closing senior, leadership and hard-to-fill searches with strong active sourcing skills and confidence approaching passive candidates
  • Experience in a technology-driven, high-growth environment recruiting across Product, Technology and Business functions
  • Experience working directly with founders or demanding senior hiring managers and influencing their decisions rather than simply executing requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to select and manage external agencies or headhunters effectively
  • Strong talent judgment and ability to interview for evidence rather than impressions
  • Capable of challenging senior stakeholders constructively and communicating clearly with executives, hiring managers and senior candidates
  • Ownership mindset with ability to diagnose what's not working and change approach accordingly
  • Ability to create structure without bureaucracy and learn quickly in unfamiliar domains
  • Fluent English required; German is an advantage but not essential
