About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential wellness products organization based in Berlin. They're seeking a strategic Demand Planner to drive forecasting accuracy and optimize inventory management. This is a pivotal role where you'll translate complex data into actionable insights that support business growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sophisticated demand forecasts using statistical models and market intelligence
• Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial objectives
• Drive continuous improvements in forecast accuracy and process efficiency through rigorous analysis
• Define and optimize the end-to-end forecasting process in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Partner with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather business inputs and create unified forecasts
• Make informed decisions and act effectively even when facing incomplete information or uncertainty
• Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and best practices in demand planning

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management within manufacturing or FMCG environments
• Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and translating forecasts into efficient operations
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle) and forecasting/inventory planning tools
• Experience in supplement, cosmetics, wellness, or similar product-driven industries is a strong advantage
• Excellent collaboration skills with ability to align diverse stakeholders
• Deep understanding of market trends, competition, and business operations
• Strong analytical mindset with sound judgment for business-impacting decisions
