Senior CRM Automation & Data Manager (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential direct-to-consumer e-commerce organization operating a highly sophisticated, data-driven CRM ecosystem with 50+ automated lanes, custom scoring models, and multi-channel tracking capabilities. They are moving rapidly toward agentic CRM and need a technical powerhouse to build the orchestration layer connecting data science outputs to automated customer journeys.

This is a 100% hands-on role at the intersection of data engineering, MarTech architecture, and automation. You will code, connect systems, and execute – not delegate tickets or theorize strategy.

Responsibilities

• Act as the core bridge between data science and marketing, translating custom models (churn, affinity, value scoring) into real-time lifecycle journeys across email, app/push, direct mail, and paid channels
• Build custom automated pipelines using n8n and advanced LLMs (Claude, Gemini) to eliminate manual campaign operations, automate trigger handling, and scale execution
• Own data pipes flowing into and out of the MarTech stack (Bloomreach as primary customer data engine, alongside Meta/Google streaming)
• Map custom attributes, manage event-tracking, and ensure flawless data ingestion across systems
• Write advanced SQL/Python scripts to clean fragmented data sources, build automated reporting structures (Tableau/Looker), and analyze data to proactively spot lifecycle opportunities
• Partner with commercial teams to design automated testing roadmaps; own technical setup, execution, and statistical validation of all CRM experiments

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience at the intersection of data automation, MarTech architecture, or analytics engineering (ideally in e-commerce/DTC)
• Strong SQL and Python coding skills specifically for data pipeline engineering, API integrations, and workflow automation
• Proven experience building API integrations and middleware workflows (via n8n, Make, or custom scripts) utilizing generative AI models
• Highly autonomous and execution-focused mindset – you thrive when building systems from scratch and require zero hand-holding
• Fluent in English

Nice-to-Haves:

• Hands-on experience with Bloomreach or equivalent enterprise CDPs like Braze/Segment
• Solid foundation in statistics for A/B test validation and data visualization (Tableau/Looker)
• Practical experience handling technical consent management and data compliance frameworks
• German or French language skills
