Working Student HR & Recruitment (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consumer technology organization seeking a Working Student to support their HR and recruitment function in Düsseldorf. This role offers hands-on experience across talent acquisition, HR operations, and employee engagement in an international environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student with prior HR or recruitment experience who wants to broaden their skills while working alongside an experienced people team.

Responsibilities

You will support recruitment and talent acquisition activities, including:

• Assisting throughout the full recruitment cycle from job posting through interview coordination
• Creating and publishing job advertisements on relevant platforms
• Screening CVs and applications against defined criteria
• Conducting initial candidate screening calls and coordinating next steps
• Managing candidate communications to ensure a positive experience
• Preparing interview materials and supporting onboarding activities

You will provide HR administrative support:

• Day-to-day operational assistance to the HR team
• Processing and tracking HR-related invoices and documentation
• Contributing to various HR projects and administrative tasks

You will help with employee engagement initiatives:

• Planning and organizing employee events, workshops, and team activities
• Managing event logistics, communications, invitations, and coordination

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled as a student at a university and eligible to work as a Working Student in Germany
• Previous practical experience in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition is required
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken); German at B2 level minimum
• Mandarin Chinese is a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
• High attention to detail with a structured working approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Comfortable using digital tools, HR systems, and recruitment platforms
• Experience in an international or multicultural environment is advantageous
