Senior Clinical Research Associate

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential clinical research organization seeking Senior Clinical Research Associates for remote positions based in Germany (as well as Poland, Hungary, United Kingdom, and France). This is an evergreen posting to build a pipeline of talented professionals for upcoming project needs.

As a Senior CRA, you will monitor clinical studies at investigative sites and ensure trials are conducted, recorded, and reported per protocol, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and all applicable regulations. You will coordinate all necessary activities to set up and monitor studies, including identifying investigators, preparing regulatory submissions, and conducting pre-study and initiation visits.

Senior CRAs manage appropriately sized clinical trials and support clinical study teams with larger-scope trials. You will train and mentor junior staff members, interact directly with sponsor contacts, and participate in proposal development activities. Domestic travel including overnight stays will constitute approximately 50-60% of your time, with possible international travel for some senior-level positions.

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
• CRA certificate
• Minimum 5 years of CRA/SCRA experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device environment
• Experience monitoring clinical trials across a variety of therapeutic areas
• Fluency in English and German is required
• Additional language(s) will be considered an asset
• Availability for domestic travel (50-60%), including overnight stays

Preferred qualifications:

• Graduate or postgraduate degree with a concentration in a scientific or healthcare discipline
• Study start-up activities experience
• Understanding of financial management
