Head of Production (m/f/x)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential creative agency seeking a Head of Production to lead both strategic development and day-to-day operations. In this role, you will:

• Develop and refine production processes, standards, and operational setups to drive efficiency and quality
• Lead the production team as Skill Lead, providing mentorship, professional development, and maintaining consistently high quality standards
• Personally produce select projects, ensuring alignment of creative vision, quality, timing, and budget
• Conceptualize and implement an AI-enabled production system by selecting the appropriate technology stack and collaborating with internal AI specialists to determine optimal use cases
• Calculate fixed-price productions, protect profit margins, and allocate budgets strategically for maximum impact
• Expand and manage a network of high-end production partners while ensuring all external collaborators meet quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Solid experience producing social media and connected TV content with comprehensive understanding of the full production lifecycle from concept to delivery
• Proven track record leading and developing production teams, including providing direction, feedback, and establishing quality benchmarks
• Clear understanding of how to build efficient and sustainable production processes, tools, and workflows
• Demonstrated experience with AI-enabled production and post-production workflows
• Strategic perspective on when to leverage AI tools, hybrid approaches, or traditional human-led production methods
• Structured working style with strong decision-making abilities and experience coordinating diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Based in Berlin with native-level German and professional fluency in English
