Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential pharmaceutical manufacturing organization in Leipzig seeking a pharmacy intern (Pharmaziepraktikant/in) to join their Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments.

During your internship, you will take on diverse responsibilities across galenics, manufacturing, quality control, and quality assurance. Through the quality assurance interface, you will become familiar with all GMP-relevant processes within a pharmaceutical enterprise and actively contribute to current priority projects.

Your practical duties will include:

• Gaining hands-on experience in the production, packaging, and testing of pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and medical devices
• Taking responsibility for the development and validation of analytical methods for cleaning validation
• Independently conducting raw material analytics according to the European Pharmacopoeia, finished product analytics, and stability testing in quality control
• Applying your university knowledge of analytical chemistry and instrumental analytics (HPLC, UV-VIS) in practical settings
• Documenting all work in accordance with GMP requirements

Throughout the internship, you will work independently while receiving excellent mentorship from experienced professionals.

What We're Looking For

Professional Requirements:

• Completed pharmaceutical studies or completed Second State Examination (Zweites Staatsexamen)
• Willingness to familiarize yourself with quality-relevant processes, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and regulatory requirements
• Confident use of standard MS Office applications
• Very good German language skills and good English skills, both written and spoken

Pay

Our client offers an attractive collectively bargained compensation package (tarifliche Vergütung) appropriate for a pharmacy internship position. Specific compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
