Account Executive – Mid Market

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded Series A analytics SaaS company in their search for a Mid-Market Account Executive based in Berlin. Our client is pioneering a new category in digital marketing intelligence, helping brands understand their visibility across emerging search and discovery platforms. They're past significant revenue milestones and backed by tier-one venture capital.

This is a genuine hunter role. You'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, building pipeline in named mid-market accounts and running complex, multi-stakeholder deals. You'll be selling into a category that's still being defined, which means educating the market and shaping buyer thinking rather than responding to inbound demand.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the complete sales cycle from initial outreach to contract signature across mid-market accounts
• Build and maintain your own pipeline through strategic prospecting into named accounts
• Multi-thread across marketing, SEO, growth, and procurement stakeholders to build compelling business cases
• Partner with SDR and marketing teams on targeted outbound campaigns and account-based marketing initiatives
• Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene throughout your pipeline
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams, sharing customer insights to influence product direction
• Navigate complex procurement processes and commercial negotiations

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of quota-carrying software sales experience, with a proven track record closing mid-market deals end-to-end
• Consistent history of exceeding quota and overachievement
• Demonstrated ability to run multi-stakeholder deals and build business cases that get budget allocation
• Strong pipeline generation skills with closed deals you sourced yourself, not just inbound leads
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
• Comfort selling in emerging categories where you educate and shape buyer understanding
• Experience selling to marketing, SEO, or growth teams is a significant advantage
• Background in martech, analytics, or SEO software sales is beneficial
• Track record in high-growth, venture-backed startup environments preferred
