Working Student – Operations (f/m/d)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential defense technology organization based in Munich, Germany. This Working Student position in Operations offers hands-on experience supporting cross-functional coordination, process improvement, and testing activities in a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment.

You'll work closely with production, procurement, and program teams to maintain project visibility, resolve operational bottlenecks, and contribute to scalable operational frameworks. This role provides practical exposure to operations management within an engineering-focused organization.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional projects by gathering, consolidating, and maintaining project data to ensure clear visibility of progress, open tasks, and potential risks
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and program teams to follow up on open topics, resolve bottlenecks, and facilitate smooth stakeholder communication
• Assist in improving operational processes by identifying inefficiencies and supporting implementation of scalable solutions
• Provide hands-on support in the preparation, coordination, and execution of test campaigns
• Contribute to strategic operations projects, including development of scalable test planning and verification frameworks
• Maintain project documentation, track action items, and support reporting to ensure timely project delivery

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Structured and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with cross-functional teams
• Proactive, hands-on attitude with willingness to take ownership and follow up on open topics
• Genuine interest in operations, manufacturing, testing, and continuous process improvement
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
• Valid work permit for Germany (visa sponsorship not available)
