Enterprise Solutions Engineer – Berlin

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded observability platform company in their search for an Enterprise Solutions Engineer based in Berlin. Our client is building modern, cloud-native tooling centered around OpenTelemetry and distributed systems.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers and prospects. You'll design observability architectures, lead technical evaluations, and ensure successful adoption of the platform across complex production environments. This position spans both pre-sales and post-sales engagements, working closely with account executives and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies
• Translate enterprise customer requirements into scalable, performant implementations
• Develop and execute Proofs of Concept that demonstrate technical capabilities and business value
• Deliver technical demos and presentations to engineering teams and executive stakeholders
• Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives throughout the sales cycle
• Provide architecture guidance on observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and collector design
• Create reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates
• Partner with Product Management to provide technical insights that inform roadmap priorities

What We're Looking For

• Deep technical knowledge in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing
• Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex observability concepts to both engineers and executives
• Proven ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and POCs that prove business value
• Collaborative mindset with experience working across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
• Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
• Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem is a plus
• Prior experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment is beneficial
