Senior Product Designer – POS

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design across critical merchant-facing domains including reporting, sales management, and fiscal compliance tools. This is an office-first role based in Berlin, Germany.

Our client serves thousands of small businesses—cafes, retail shops, salons, and more—with point-of-sale solutions that help them manage daily operations, understand performance through powerful analytics, maintain regulatory compliance, and operate with confidence.

In this role, you'll own the design experience for how merchants analyze their business data, manage sales activity, and navigate local fiscal requirements. You'll also contribute to building a more unified reporting experience across multiple product lines within the organization's ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design across reporting, fiscalisation, and sales domains—from discovery and strategy through production-ready delivery
• Drive the unification of reporting experiences across dashboard and mobile platforms, making complex data clear and accessible for non-expert users
• Design holistic user flows including sign-up, onboarding, and export experiences that meet local regulatory requirements while remaining globally scalable
• Establish consistent UX patterns for presenting data-heavy, financial information across interconnected products
• Shape long-term product strategy by running discovery initiatives, influencing roadmap priorities, and acting as a trusted design partner to product and engineering teams

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years working as a Product Designer with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership across complex digital products
• Solid experience designing dashboards, reporting interfaces, or analytics products with proven ability to make complex financial or operational data understandable for merchants and business owners
• Deep expertise in product design, information architecture, and systems thinking applied across interconnected product ecosystems
• Track record of leading product discovery independently—from identifying user problems through validating and shipping solutions without close supervision
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable aligning diverse stakeholders across product, engineering, and business functions and presenting work with confidence
• Proficiency in Figma, with familiarity in Miro and Notion and comfort working within modern, collaborative design workflows
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus but not required

Pay
