Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential software organization based in Münster seeking an experienced Android Developer with a strong focus on AI-assisted development practices.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and enhance native Android applications using Kotlin
- Design, implement, and optimize modern app architectures
- Leverage AI-powered development tools throughout the coding, refactoring, testing, and documentation lifecycle
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI tools and technologies into development workflows
- Help shape development standards and best practices for AI-assisted software engineering
What We're Looking For
Our client needs a developer who combines solid Android expertise with practical AI tooling experience:
- Several years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and modern architecture patterns
- Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development in real-world projects
- Proficiency with AI coding assistants and generative AI for development support, analysis, and quality assurance
- Ability to critically evaluate, test, and safely integrate AI-generated code into existing systems
- Strong quality awareness and understanding of privacy, security, and technical limitations of AI
- Ideally, good German and English language skills
