M&A Intern (m/w/d) Frankfurt am Main

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential M&A advisory firm seeking an intern to join their Frankfurt am Main team starting January 2027 for a minimum of 4 to 6 months. In this role, you will:

• Support the creation of pitch presentations, teasers, information memoranda, and management presentations
• Participate actively in daily project work, closely supporting M&A processes alongside team members
• Assist in building integrated financial models, financial analyses, and company valuations
• Contribute to industry, company, and competitive analyses
• Support due diligence activities across multiple transactions

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking candidates who demonstrate:

• Current enrollment in a business, economics, or comparable degree program with a corporate finance focus, or recent graduation with above-average academic performance
• Prior relevant experience in M&A advisory, corporate finance, or private equity is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven advisory and communication competence and confident presence
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication abilities combined with a collaborative team spirit
• Resilience and flexibility to manage tight deadlines and demanding client requirements
• Very strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
