This is a strategic role supporting one of our client's fastest-growing channels, where you'll serve as the primary relationship owner for health plan customers and drive retention, engagement, and measurable outcomes across covered populations.
In this position, you'll partner with payer account, product, and clinical stakeholders to ensure our client's platform remains a valued part of the benefits they deliver to their members. You'll translate clinical programs into payer-ready reporting on utilization, outcomes, and cost savings, while navigating the unique operating rhythms of large health plan organizations.
This role offers the opportunity to shape how our client supports health plan customers, contributing to playbooks and best practices as this channel scales.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of health plan accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to plan stakeholders across account, product, and clinical functions
- Drive retention and renewal outcomes, proactively identifying risks and building action plans that account for payer procurement and renewal cycles
- Increase member engagement and program utilization across covered populations through data-informed recommendations and regular business reviews
- Present program value, outcomes, and cost-savings data to health plan leadership through clear storytelling and executive-ready presentations
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, implementation, business intelligence, legal and compliance, and member success teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
- Identify and support expansion opportunities within existing health plan relationships, including new lines of business and populations
- Contribute to customer success playbooks, processes, and best practices for the health plan segment as it scales

- 6+ years of professional experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or client services within the health plan, payer, or healthcare benefits space
- Direct experience working with or within health plans, with understanding of how payers evaluate, launch, and manage partner programs
- Track record of successfully managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships and projects across simultaneous workstreams
- Clear, empathetic communication skills with comfort presenting to plan leadership and executive audiences
- Enthusiasm for expanding access to healthcare services
Preferred qualifications:
- Existing relationships within national or regional health plans
- Familiarity with payer operations including clinical program integration, network strategy, or utilization and outcomes reporting
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills with attention to detail
- Comfort navigating ambiguity in growing business segments
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry conferences
