Senior Technical Project Manager

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join their program management team. This role sits at the heart of product delivery, owning complex cross-functional initiatives that span engineering, product, data, and go-to-market functions.

This is not a traditional coordination role. You'll own projects end-to-end, make meaningful decisions that impact business outcomes, and operate as a strategic force multiplier in a fast-paced, AI-augmented environment. Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Drive end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs from scoping through launch, defining what "done" looks like and holding teams accountable to delivery standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across engineering, product, data, leadership, and external partners, surfacing trade-offs and managing competing priorities
• Leverage AI tools as a force multiplier in your day-to-day work—drafting status updates, synthesizing risk signals, generating documentation, and accelerating decision-making
• Translate business objectives into executable project plans by identifying dependencies, sequencing work intelligently, and proactively flagging when scope, timeline, or resources need adjustment
• Anticipate problems before they become blockers, build contingency plans, and facilitate difficult conversations early
• Define and reinforce delivery standards including quality gates, rollout plans, retrospectives, and post-mortems that drive real change
• Own executive-level reporting with clear, opinionated status updates, risk dashboards, and decision-ready briefings

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in technical project management or program management, with a proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives in a software or SaaS environment
• Genuine technical fluency—you don't need to write code, but you understand how software is built and what makes architectural decisions challenging
• Active use of AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Cursor, Notion AI, or similar) in your daily workflow, with comfort helping teams define responsible AI use in their processes
• Systems thinking ability to hold the complete picture—dependencies, risks, resource constraints, business context—while staying sharp on critical details
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write concisely, adapt messaging to different audiences, and explain technical blockers in plain language
• Experience with modern delivery frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
• Data-informed approach using metrics to track progress and inform decisions
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth

Nice to have:

• Experience in B2B SaaS or learning product companies
• Familiarity evaluating and rolling out AI tooling within engineering or product teams
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
• Experience managing vendor relationships or third-party integrations at scale

This position is based in Canada with flexible remote work options.

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $93,100 – $139,700 CAD base salary. Your specific placement within this range will be determined based on your job-related skills, knowledge, and experience. Most new hires start between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
