Functional Consultant, EMEA

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that has built a specialized platform serving thousands of finance teams worldwide. Our talent team is seeking a Functional Consultant based in the Philippines to support their EMEA operations.

This role bridges business requirements and technical implementation, working with enterprise software solutions in the financial operations space. You'll gather client needs, design functional specifications, conduct demonstrations, and ensure smooth deployments while supporting ongoing client success.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from customers and translate them into functional specifications and user stories
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and configure solutions that meet customer needs
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers
• Assist in testing and quality assurance processes to ensure solutions meet requirements and are error-free
• Provide ongoing support to customers, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements as needed
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to financial software
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met and expectations are managed
• Document processes, configurations, and customizations for future reference
• Participate in pre-sales activities such as solution presentations and proposal development

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in a functional consulting role within the fintech industry
• Willingness and ability to work standard business hours in the EMEA timezone
• Experience with enterprise software implementation projects, preferably in areas such as ERP, CRM, or other business applications
• Understanding of business processes and ability to analyze and document complex requirements
• Project management skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English required; additional European languages a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills

This is a fully remote position offered as either a fixed-term or permanent contract based on your country of residence, subject to a written employment agreement.
