About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded precision medicine organization developing advanced clinical AI platforms. Our talent team is building their scientific engagement function and seeking an early-career researcher ready to bridge science and commercial impact.

This is a high-velocity role: you will conduct peer-level scientific outreach to oncologists and surgeons nationwide, present clinical evidence fluently, and convert conversations into early access participation or qualified sales opportunities. You'll need a strong research foundation but must be equally comfortable working toward quotas and pipeline metrics. This position offers pathways into deeper scientific roles or commercial leadership depending on your performance and interests.

Responsibilities

• Execute personalized scientific outreach to high-priority oncology and surgical targets via email, calls, video meetings, and post-conference follow-up
• Present validation studies, methodology, and clinical utility data with fluency; answer rigorous questions on study design, comparators, and guideline alignment
• Convert physician interest into first orders, early access enrollments, or warm handoffs to field sales with complete context
• Document objections, evidence gaps, and technical feedback for internal clinical and product stakeholders
• Serve as on-demand scientific support for field representatives closing complex accounts

What We're Looking For

• PhD (or MD/PharmD) in oncology, cancer biology, or a closely related discipline
• Strong working knowledge of clinical oncology literature and ability to critically evaluate trial design
• Persuasive communicator in writing and speaking; you enjoy engaging skeptical, highly credentialed audiences
• Competitive mindset and comfort working in a metrics-driven environment with activity quotas and pipeline accountability
• High proficiency in presentation software (Google Slides, PowerPoint); able to build clean, data-driven visuals independently
• Willingness to adopt commercial habits even if your background is purely research-focused
