Senior Fullstack Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded financial technology company that is transforming how wealth management professionals handle client data and system integration. Our client is building data orchestration solutions that eliminate manual processes and create seamless workflows across multiple platforms.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you'll be an early technical leader helping shape both product and engineering culture. This role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to influence architecture decisions from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of critical product features including self-service onboarding, data management workflows, and integration capabilities
• Take end-to-end ownership of the features you build, from design through production deployment
• Build high-quality, user-facing web applications that deliver exceptional experiences
• Establish and maintain strong developer experience practices and tooling
• Monitor production systems using observability tools to quickly identify and resolve operational issues
• Participate in hiring and mentoring as the engineering team grows
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams to define and execute the roadmap
• Influence technical vision and architecture decisions as an early team member

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of professional engineering experience
• Proven track record shipping complex, high-quality systems at scale
• Strong experience building delightful user-facing web applications
• History of working effectively with cross-functional product teams
• Excited to be a hands-on individual contributor with significant ownership
• Thrives in early-stage, fast-paced environments with ambiguity and high agency
• Impact-driven approach focused on solving the most important problems
• Bias toward action and ownership—you see problems and fix them
• Customer-centric mindset focused on creating excellent user experiences
• Ability to move quickly and ship frequently

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience building B2B or fintech software
• Background at seed or early-stage startups, particularly as an early engineer
• Experience building or maintaining open source software
• History of launching personal projects or starting companies
• Experience with AI prompting, models, and tools with ability to mentor others

Tech stack includes: React, Node, Fastify, MUI, React Query, Vite, Storybook, Playwright
