Corporate (Mid-Market) Account Executive DACH (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization seeking a Corporate (Mid-Market) Account Executive based in Cologne. In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract closure, focusing on new customer acquisition in the corporate mid-market segment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Independently managing the entire sales process to win new customers and achieve sales targets
• Collaborating closely with sales development representatives to identify and qualify leads, ensuring a robust sales pipeline
• Conducting online demonstrations, on-site meetings, and events to showcase our client's cybersecurity solutions
• Building and maintaining sustainable relationships with decision-makers at prospective customer organizations
• Driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities in coordination with customer success managers
• Navigating negotiations and closing deals while positioning the value of human risk management solutions

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings 2–4 years of closing experience in SaaS sales, ideally with SMB or mid-market customer focus. You take ownership of your goals, demonstrate initiative, and bring deals to completion with discipline and consistency.

Key qualifications:

• Strong team collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Adaptable and capable of managing priorities flexibly in a dynamic startup environment
• Open to feedback with a commitment to continuous learning and development
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with regular office days in Cologne and remote workdays
• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot, prospecting software, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Native or fluent German language skills required for this DACH-focused position
