About This Opportunity
We are representing a fast-growing AI technology company based in Munich that is reshaping how brands appear in generative AI search results. As search evolves beyond traditional engines to conversational AI platforms, our client helps enterprises ensure their visibility across next-generation discovery channels.
We're seeking a GTM & Partnerships Lead to own the complete partnerships function. You'll build strategic relationships across three key verticals: established European enterprises transitioning to AI-first visibility strategies, major technology platforms seeking AI search solutions, and media organizations adapting to the changing distribution landscape.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the partnership strategy across enterprise, technology platform, and media verticals—determining partnership models (pilot programs, co-selling arrangements, integrations, joint offerings) and building a qualified pipeline
- Open doors at C-level, innovation departments, and venture clienting units through your network, targeted events, and strategic outbound efforts
- Structure deals from initial conversations through pilot phases to framework agreements, leading negotiations alongside the founding team
- Activate partnerships to drive revenue—move beyond signed contracts to deliver results through joint campaigns, enablement programs, and regular pipeline reviews
- Represent the organization at major industry conferences and partner events throughout Europe
- Channel market feedback into product development, working closely with GTM leadership and the founding team to ensure solutions meet enterprise, platform, and media partner requirements
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in partnerships, business development, enterprise sales, or strategy consulting, ideally within SaaS, martech, or media environments
- Demonstrated track record of building and activating partnerships with large organizations—not just signing agreements, but driving measurable outcomes
- Established network in at least one target vertical: DACH enterprise innovation departments, technology platforms, or media organizations
- Comfort operating at C-level and understanding enterprise decision-making processes including procurement, legal, compliance, and budget cycles
- Balance of patience for complex sales cycles and urgency for rapid execution
- Familiarity with AI visibility and generative engine optimization (GEO), or ability to develop expertise quickly
- Fluent German and English required; additional European language a plus
- Willingness to travel regularly across Europe and occasionally to the US
- Structured approach using CRM systems and AI-powered productivity tools
