Our talent team is representing a confidential language services organization seeking German into Estonian medical translators to join their freelance community. This is a fully remote, independent contractor position offering flexible scheduling and steady project flow in specialized life sciences content.

We're looking for linguists with deep expertise in medical translation, clinical trials documentation, and healthcare terminology who can deliver accurate, culturally appropriate translations for critical healthcare materials.

Responsibilities

• Translate medical and life sciences content from German into Estonian
• Work on clinical trial documentation, medical device materials, and healthcare communications
• Ensure terminology consistency and cultural appropriateness for healthcare audiences
• Dedicate a minimum of 5 hours per week to translation tasks
• Deliver projects on time while maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate remotely using modern translation technology platforms

What We're Looking For

• Native or fluent proficiency in Estonian (reading and writing)
• University degree in Linguistics, Translation, or medical certification
• Demonstrated experience in medical translation and localization
• Portfolio showing relevant projects and clients in life sciences, medical, or clinical trial domains
• Strong understanding of medical terminology in both German and Estonian
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Availability for at least 5 hours of translation work per week
• Based in Germany or authorized to work as a freelance contractor remotely
