Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential engineering consultancy in the Karlsruhe region, and our talent team is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Infrastructure and Civil Engineering with a focus on municipal water management. In this senior leadership role, you will:
- Serve as the central point of contact for your project management team, providing guidance on technical and contractual matters
- Oversee complex civil engineering projects from a technical perspective, ensuring high quality standards throughout delivery
- Contribute your expertise actively to tender processes, procurement procedures, and proposal development
- Build and maintain sustainable relationships with clients, contracting authorities, and regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with branch leadership on technical, organizational, and operational initiatives
- Take responsibility for the timely, cost-effective, and quality-assured execution of ongoing projects
- Foster technical knowledge exchange within the team and drive continuous improvement at the location
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in Civil Engineering or comparable qualification, such as a technician qualification in civil engineering
- Several years of professional experience in civil engineering, ideally in wastewater, drainage systems, transportation infrastructure, or structural engineering
- Knowledge of German fee structures (HOAI) and demonstrated experience in project management and execution
- Initial leadership experience or responsibility for project teams
- Strong communication skills and confident presence when engaging with clients, contracting authorities, and regulatory bodies
- Structured, independent working style and enthusiasm for taking on responsibility
