Partnerships Manager (North West)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is transforming how established SMEs access banking services. Our talent team is seeking a Partnerships Manager to cover the North West region on a remote basis within the UK.

This role focuses on building and managing strategic relationships with accounting firms, positioning our client's banking solutions as the preferred option for their SME clients. You'll take a consultative B2B sales approach, owning the complete partner journey from initial outreach through to active, repeat referrals.

Responsibilities

• Manage a regional portfolio of accounting firms across the North West, progressing relationships from cold outreach to repeat introducers
• Build trust and credibility through regular regional travel and in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders across firms
• Own the end-to-end client experience for business account clients—from introduction through onboarding, funding, and ongoing usage
• Qualify and coordinate referrals for lending needs (commercial mortgages, etc.) with specialist relationship managers
• Serve as the dedicated point of contact for accounting firms partnered with our client
• Deliver the accountants partnership playbook, ensuring positive onboarding and active engagement
• Organize and run regional activities including lunch-and-learns, roundtables, and networking events
• Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking pipeline progress and reporting on key metrics
• Collaborate across internal teams to ensure seamless partner and customer experiences
• Comply with all mandatory policies and operational procedures

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in B2B sales and account management
• Strong understanding of SMEs and the role of professional advisors, particularly accountants
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with demonstrated ability to earn trust from partners and customers
• Strong communication and presentation skills for in-person and virtual meetings
• Confident managing a CRM-based portfolio and reporting on pipeline progress
• Commercially minded with ability to balance revenue generation with appropriate risk considerations
• Comfortable working collaboratively with specialist colleagues across marketing and relationship management functions
• Willingness to travel regularly within the North West region
