Analyst, Data Operations & Analytics (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential hospitality technology client seeking an Analyst, Data Operations & Analytics to join their Berlin team. This role serves as a critical bridge between data, product, and business teams, transforming complex business questions into clear insights and actionable reporting. You'll build reusable data models, create dashboards that drive decision-making, and help teams understand their customers and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of hospitality business processes, customer journeys, and data structures to provide accurate, contextual analysis
• Perform segmentation, customer health analysis, and impact measurement to track business performance
• Write SQL queries and build datasets by pulling from multiple data sources to answer stakeholder questions
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports that enable business partners to track KPIs and identify trends
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate loosely defined questions into clear analysis plans
• Present findings through clear visualizations and narratives that explain data insights and business implications
• Identify and investigate data quality issues, documenting findings and escalating root causes appropriately
• Stay current with developments in data analytics, including machine learning models and large language models

What We're Looking For

• 2–3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar analytics role
• Solid SQL skills with comfort querying and joining data across multiple sources
• Experience building dashboards or reports using Looker or similar BI tools
• Strong ability to turn business questions into analysis plans and ask clarifying questions when requirements are unclear
• Careful attention to data accuracy with strong quality assurance instincts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Curious, organized, and self-starting approach, comfortable in fast-paced environments
• Python experience for data analysis is a plus
• Exposure to Hospitality, Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations, Sales, or operational business environments is beneficial
• Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery, Dataform, GitHub, Salesforce, Segment, or Heap is advantageous
