Senior Full Stack Engineer – Team Web

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their web platform team in London. In this role, you will own end-to-end development of their public-facing web presence, which serves as a critical driver for brand awareness and demand generation.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Designing, building, and maintaining full stack web solutions from modern user interfaces through to backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
• Collaborating closely with design, brand, marketing, and content stakeholders to deliver seamless, high-performance experiences across web and mobile platforms
• Developing backend logic and APIs, managing data flows, and implementing integrations with third-party platforms
• Optimizing website performance through front-end best practices including lazy loading and efficient asset management
• Setting up and managing infrastructure using Vercel, AWS, CloudFront, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines such as CircleCI
• Implementing and maintaining web analytics frameworks and supporting A/B testing initiatives for data-driven optimization
• Staying current with emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve development processes and user experience
• Writing backend software to unblock yourself end-to-end without dependencies on other teams

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a senior engineer with deep full stack expertise and a track record of building robust, performant web platforms. The ideal candidate brings:

• 8+ years of experience in full stack development with strong foundations in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Expert-level proficiency in front-end frameworks including React, Next.js, and Tailwind
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as Contentful or Sanity, and marketing tools like Google Tag Manager and Marketo
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as CircleCI to streamline and automate development workflows
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools including Terraform and cloud platforms like AWS (Vercel, CloudFront, S3)
• Experience implementing A/B testing and working with analytics tools to drive data-informed design and development decisions
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and best practices for fast-loading, responsive websites
• Experience writing tests for front-end components using frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

This is a hybrid role based in London, with an expectation to be in the office at least three days per week.

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and will be competitive based on your experience and the London market.
