About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential AI platform company in Berlin seeking a Support Engineer (Working Student) to join their customer support operations. This is a hands-on technical support role where you'll be the first line of defense for enterprise customers using a sophisticated AI platform daily.
This is a long-term working student position requiring 20 hours per week, distributed across Monday–Friday (~4 hours/day), 100% on-site in Berlin. We're looking for someone who can commit for ideally 12+ months.
Responsibilities
- Handle the majority of customer tickets end-to-end, covering technical questions about model behavior, API integrations, enterprise compliance, billing, and access control
- Investigate and troubleshoot reported issues, reproduce bugs, test potential fixes, and communicate clear solutions to enterprise users
- Document recurring user friction and edge cases with clear reproduction steps
- Flag bugs and patterns directly to the engineering team
- Contribute to internal documentation and support workflow improvements
- Test and refine AI-driven support tooling to help resolve routine questions more efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Genuine enthusiasm for front-line customer support with strong written communication skills
- Availability for 20 hours per week across 5 days (Monday–Friday, ~4 hours/day) working 100% on-site in Berlin
- Strong analytical and systems thinking abilities—you enjoy breaking down complex technical problems logically
- High agency and ownership mindset: you take tickets from start to resolution and dig into root causes
- Deep curiosity about AI, automation, and modern tooling
- Professional fluency in both German and English
- Currently enrolled as a university student with availability for a 12+ month commitment
- Technical or analytical background preferred (Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field, or strong hands-on technical experience)
- Collaborative, kind, and professional demeanor
