Clinical Project Manager / Senior Clinical Project Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clinical research organization seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager / Senior Clinical Project Manager to join their team in Slovakia. This is a full-service project management role focused on oncology clinical trials across all phases (I-IV).

Our client is looking for a seasoned professional who takes a consultative approach to trial management and has proven experience delivering complex global and regional studies within a CRO environment. You'll have full oversight of clinical projects, managing cross-functional teams, client relationships, budgets, and timelines from proposal through study completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical projects independently in accordance with study budgets and scope of work, managing both contracted and financial objectives
• Serve as primary client liaison, providing excellent customer service and participating in proposal activities and presentations
• Oversee all functional areas including data management, safety, clinical operations, medical monitoring, and biostatistics
• Manage international trials with cross-functional teams involving both internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare project status updates identifying key deliverables, performance metrics, and escalation points for clients and senior management
• Review and prepare protocols, project plans, informed consents, site contracts, and budgets
• Coordinate study teams to drive quality and ensure delivery within agreed timelines, scope, cost, and quality standards
• Participate in proposal strategy, development, costing, and bid defence activities

What We're Looking For

• Degree in life sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 4 years of full-service Project Management experience in clinical trials within a CRO setting
• Oncology experience is essential – you must have managed studies within this therapeutic area
• Extensive experience in Clinical Operations within a CRO environment prior to project management roles
• Working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and the clinical development process
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to engage with C-level stakeholders
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, PowerPoint, and clinical trial systems (CTMS, eTMF, EDC, IXRS)
• Proven ability to build positive working relationships with diverse teams
• Core understanding of medical terminology and clinical trial activities
• Ability and availability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays
